Marissa dances, and each year she has a competition in St. George around this time of year. I have to say if you are going to have a dance competition in St. George this is the perfect time of year to do it. By this time of year we have had it with SLC weather and St. George is just right. We left the 75 degree weather in St. George to drive home through a snow storm. The weather there was ideal. We had intentions of a perfectly planned trip where we would take in the maximum number of sights but we realized that all the kids would want to do is hang out by the pool... so that is what we did. We watched way too many white girls try to dance hip-hop. We watched a couple of very well done dances by Marissa's team (they took second) and we hung out by the pool.
Another highlight of the trip was meeting up with Heather, Alex, Ben and the Aamodts over some very good fire-roasted tomato salsa and chips.
As for how our van got that funny smell? I would go into it but Steve reminded me after my last post that this is a family forum.

How funny that we had the same experience with Ben driving back from St. George. It was great seeing you guys both there and in SLC. Come to Portland anytime!!
